How We Learn

Learning comes to life
when children take part.

We model the language, practise together, then give each child space to speak in their own way.

Little words. Big possibilities.
01

Listen and understand

Listen to a story or conversation and discover what words mean in context.

02

Try and play

Arrange words, choose answers and build complete sentences.

03

Speak in your own words

Change a word or an idea to talk about yourself and your world.

Learning Pathways

A path for every starting point.

Phonics & Reading

From sounds to words

Recognise letter sounds, blend them and read words and short sentences.

Speaking & Communication

From words to conversations

Build sentences, ask questions and use English in everyday situations.

For Parents

You’re part
of the adventure.

Five minutes of talking and playing can become a lovely after-class habit.

How do I open my child’s book?

Choose a book and select Open Book. Sign in with the email address invited by the academy and your password. If access has not been activated, contact the academy.

What can we do after class?

Choose a sentence from the lesson. Let your child use it with a real object or a toy. Listen, encourage them to change a word, and try again.

My child knows words but doesn’t speak. How can I help?

Model a short sentence, then offer two choices to help your child complete it. Allow time to answer and focus on meaning before correcting every detail.

How do I choose the right pathway?

Tell us your child’s age and what they can already do: recognise sounds, read words or build sentences. This helps the teacher find the right starting point.

Start with one small step

Today’s words. Tomorrow’s confidence.

Choose a book and make room for a little English every day.
